About
I’ve run operations under pressure in three very different worlds.
I’m Nuno Fontoura, founder of NabiaEdge. I help founders of production and brand activation agencies build the operating system that runs the business without them in every decision.

Where the discipline comes from
- Six years in the Portuguese MarinesAs an officer, I learned that a plan is only as good as the discipline behind it: clear orders, clear ownership, and resilience when conditions change.
- Seven and a half years at AmazonIn Operations, Business Development and Program Management, inside a culture where operational rigour is the whole culture and execution has to hold at scale.
- Founder of NabiaEdgeFor the last year and a half I’ve applied that discipline directly to founder-led businesses and their teams, and built the Vessel Operating System (VOS) to make the work measurable.

How I work
- Operational, not motivationalWe work on the engine: how decisions actually get made, how work actually flows, and how the business handles pressure without breaking.
- A fixed cadenceEvery session ends with a standard to hit before the next one. Progress is measured, not felt.
- Direct, honest feedbackIf something isn’t working, you’ll hear it before it costs you.
I work mainly with founders of production and brand activation agencies, because that’s where the operating problems I know best show up. The same operating system works in any founder-led business outside regulated industries: the clinic case study is one.
